Amazingly accurate Boomer combines with wizard to stop the techies cold in the 1st half. 2nd half the Legion plows in for a TD early, but still keeps KAMU out of the EZ.

1st half, I could not seem to get anything going, and Boomer was great the first few turns. Then the wizard slowed me down (I'm not sure I'd have used it there, as I was pretty out of position--but it worked well). Turn 8 our blockers forgot that they aren't supposed to handle the ball--especially after moving. My turn 8, with an outside chance of scoring, a blocker that had stood up earlier catches the bouncing ball. Then a Legionaire player catches the hot potato after throwing a block.

2nd half, it seemed nothing was working for me, despite being up a player. A turn where 2 of my guys were stunned pretty much sealed the game. Then 2 injuries before the TD did not help. However, with 4 turns to score, I was still up a player, but could not push through. I was out played and out guarded pretty much. Game ended on a double skull block by a blocker.

no new skills. With such a high TV, I think I'm going to sack a couple of -AV blockers, but will give the DR a few more games..he did well in the 1st half (even with one double skull block)
