“Black Cup - Round 1

A solid game against some undermanned dark elves. We started off with a blitz and the dark elves responded with a gutsy push towards the endzone, the bulls walled them off and we stole the ball, but lightning from the sky knocked it loose. Twice more we knocked the ball loose, but the elves kept recovering. Then as they stalled, we knocked it free for the 4th time in the first half and recovered it again. With no RR, a hero move from the witch elf, needing double POW on the -2d gets it and recovers the ball to score on T8.

The second half was a grind as we slowly removed the elves and then their fate was sealed with going 1 for 6 on KO wakeups and losing the coin toss for OT. If they had won the coin toss and had all their players back - it could have easily gone the other way.
