Most dwarf coaches would have drooled at this matchup. Me, I was miffed that I bought an extra dwarf for the previous game that I didn't use and was wondering how Azure was going to work his magic and beat me like he normally does. But I knew it should be a fun game at any rate and it did not disappoint. Halfling #9, Halflings are OP!, lived up to his name by knocking the ball loose 3 times on single die blitzes - 1 against a Blodger and 1 against a Wrestler. The Tools managed to recover and corral the ball and the fans helped out with a nice throw-in. Then the numbers started swinging in our favor as the flings were vacating the pitch left, right and center. The 1st half Riot gave the flings a chance to equalize and Azure did everything right but was thwarted by a bad landing in 2 TZs. 2nd half the flings made a break for it but Pile-driver took care of Suicide Sam and earned his MVP. The Tools did a bit of farming and put away the 2nd TD once all flings were off the pitch.

A strange journey, but the Tools are happy to be in their first final. Thanks for the game and good luck with the flings in the box.”
