“Glitchy game - a (winning?) card was picked accidentally when the pop-up showed while typing >.< , Coach F reported he twice chose "Pass" (the right choice) but was given a "Foul" action both times, and Juggernaut failed to activate Turn 5 on a Both-Down on the Yeti, which caused an Orc knockout, but also ended Turn 4 before the 1d Blitz attempt. About equal, all in all, but two frustrated coaches do not equal a good game.


The 'Sons chose to receive and outbashed the Orcs in the first half, KO'ing one BOB Turn 1, BH'ing a rookie line-orc T2 and then surfing another BOB to the morgue T7, altho' he was detoured back to the bench by the Apo. Still, the Smackers were able to squeak one of their Ag 4's to within blitzing range of the ballcarrier, and with no RR remaining for anything unpleasant the 'Sons chose to score Turn 7. But somehow the orcs left their man short of scoring range, but not before the Orcs MNG'd a lineman and KO'd a Blitzer and the DP in those last 2 Turns, and another rookie line-orc RIP'd himself on a 1d to end the half, Sons 1-0.

Second half, the Orcs continued to own the bash, MNG'ing the Norse Ag 4 and another rookie lino Turn 2. One of the glitched "not-a-Pass" turns left the ballcarrier exposed, and an Ulf 4+ dodged for the Blitz, but the 'Sons could not recover, and after a brief contest the Orcs took control again. With some players in surf position, the Smackers chose to score Turn 7, leaving the Norse 2 turns to break the 1-1 tie.

Turn 7, no RR remaining for either team, the Norse dropped their card, making their St 4 Blodge Blitzer into St 5. A short kick set up a pair of 3+ rolls to get the ball into his hands, and he not only Powed the nearest BOB but KO'd him, and then ran down to the 7 yard line with an Ulf Guard inside of him and a screen beyond that. The Smackers went to set up a mark, but the GFI failed - and the Norse GFI for the TD did not, 'Sons 2-1.”
