"I played better than u but ur gonna win cuz u rolled a 6".
(Note that I did not win.)
"This match is totally unfair cuz Im playing a rookie team"
(My team: 15 skills, his: 10)
See, one thing I will never, ever do is fail to admit when I am lucky, or when others are unlucky. The Roughriders had plenty of good luck here. (We made an interception!) But we had plenty of totally horrendous luck, too. (One turn consisted of nothing but a FA roll of 1 rerolled to 1, followed by double skulls.) And my opponent? Plenty of absolutely fantastic luck, and also a victim to my lucky streaks. And guess what? We tied! But that wasn't good enough for our friend Sotomonte... Can't just have a friendly game of wild and crazy swings, and shake hands after... Had to have been diced, right? (Doesn't really mesh well with the fairy-tale about my team being an unfairly more powerful team, but can't let that get in the way of complaining!)
It's just downright ridiculous. I am absolutely astounded at the degree of self-delusion that some people on FUMMBL manage to fall into. Here is a coach who broke Armor on over half his knockdowns, equaled me in damage, rolled 0 double skulls to my 5, and yet still somehow couldn't help but complain about the dice throughout the whole game. Jesus, forget ClawPOMB... these are the things that drive people away. Damn well might drive me away. ”
