A truly crazy match. With neither Treeman turning up for the rainy kick off, I was struggling in the first half, but managed a touchdown thanks to some lucky blocks and an impressivly effective Halfling cage. This obviously angered the Wood Elf fans, as a pitch invasion reduced the Dingleberries to six men, allowing the Elves to equalise with ease. The rest of the half saw the Halflings pushing back and scoring another just before the whistle. The second half saw the Treemen turn up and the Wood Elves definitely felt their presence, as their team was gradually worn down to three! A third touchdown for the Halflings sealed the win, but some spectacular throwing saw the ball hurled to a Wood Elf catcher stood in the corner square of the pitch to score a second for the Woodies in turn seven. A failed Halfling throw teammate attempt finished the game at three-two to the 'Berries.

One of those games that truly symbolise the uniqueness of Blood Bowl and a great opponent who played on even after a high number of casualties dropped his team to three. Thanks for the game, I hope the damage is healed quickly.”
