“A cracking game with coach roante handing Lagertha's Pillagers their first ever loss!
The game was very close but coach roante managed to perform better, carefully playing to his team's natural strengths. Compounding this, coach Hayati made a few errors of judgment that ensured the loss. For instance, he relied on The Seer too heavily in the early second half, resulting in an early turnover and a sudden change of pace that sealed Lagertha's doom before they could begin to gain any impetus.
Overall, coach Hayati was quite pleased with his team's defensive efforts to restrict the score to 1-0 despite his flawed coaching. He looks forward to a rematch and promises coach roante that he has learned his lessons from this bitter defeat- and the next match will be even tougher!”
“Fun game with quite an unexpected result from my side, I must admit :-)
A close, but hard-earned victory for the Highland Hierarchs. To be honest, the game is part of a "bigger plan" that will be announced on my blog -- so stay tuned!
I had lucky rolls on the match, all the double-skull results were shown up on my opponent's side. When The Seer, the beast of the opposing team went down on the first move on the LoS... it was a critical moment in the game that allowed the elven guys to put pressure on the ball chasing pestigors.
Definitely looking forward for a rematch soon! The team will probalby miss the catcher though :D”
