The play freed up both the ball, pleasing Right, and the eternally damned soul of McBitealot (despite the efforts of both the apothecary and the Count's regenerative powers), pleasing Left.

While this was not enough to stop the Vampires from scoring, it did result in a numbers advantage which lasted the rest of the game. After a timely shout from coach Right barely kept a chaos player from punching himself out just before the halftime whistle, a succesful handoff to dr. Claw made a 1-1 score at half time.

True to their style, the Vipers managed to steal the ball in the second half, only to be foiled by a flawless intercept from wannabe-elf mr. Tackle. As a result, the game ended 2-1 in favor of the Mutants.”
