This was Jim's centenary match and Nuffle bowed down before him in a devastating tournament victory as he hit exactly 1500 yards passed with 231 completions.
I won the toss and opted to kick. It was an unbelievable first half as 3 black orcs were in the casualty box by 5 turns in, one dead. A few more casualties were soon rattled off and the game was over as a contest. Meanwhile the orcs failed to break armour for the whole of the first half.
A sneaky little goblin foul and touchdown were about the only moments Vaclav got good fortune in the game. Actually, wait, he did have a 1D POW on a rookie lineman near the end.
Something did go wrong for me - the wizard fizzled. That was it, and it was moot given how the rest of the game panned out. This was simply one decided by the dice.”
