“Didn't like my chances coming up with young Ogres and only 11 against Dwarves.

Couldn't score on my offensive half, but managed to ding up a Blocker early. The ball rolled a little more my way with fouling out another. By the end of the half, I had lost 2 snotlings to the KO box, and nThatch (who played very well) was down 2 KOs, and 2 SI's (no thanks to the apothecary).

The start of the 2nd half looked slightly promising with 11 v. 7, but 6 of 10 dumb dumbs in first two turns left me teetering. Took a fortunate BT blitz from an Ogre to pop the ball free. After finding the ground, the next 2 turns of blocking (one for him, one for me) led to the ball fortunately bouncing to a snotling, who booked it down the sideline, only to nearly trip on the end line.

Left the Dwarves 2 turns in which to score. Got my Diving Tackle snotling on the receiver Runner, but the pass was perfect, and he dodged away with no DT roll.

I didn't really play fantastically well, so I can't say as I deserved the win at all, but it sure would've been a confidence booster for the ChARRgres. They did earn enough, however, to finally purchase RR #3.
