“This was the first game of a new starting roster for squigs. 2 Hoppers, 9 Herders and 6 RR. It wasn't too bad a start for a squig team, alot better than other's i'd seen.
You got a fumbled pickup on receiving, and I was in there in a flash. Got my first cas on you, and I thought everything was going my way =).
I fumbled the pickup, then you fumbled yours, so I promptly followed suit and fumbled it some more. I cleared the ball area except for 1, fumbled it onto you, and you dropped it down beside me. You fumbled the ball onto me, and another I dropped it. Finally the ball was picked up and carried over the line for my 1st TD.
You fumbled yet another pickup, then I saw the first and only failed Ofab roll. You... guess.....FUMBLE! My herder Laboro goes through tackle zones, picking up the ball, and getting into a safe spot, following through with another TD to finish the half.
Following the trend, I fumbled the ball pickup on my receive. Then tradgedy struck, and your tree KILLED my poor Parvus. Recovering from that shock, the ball was picked up, promptly followed by a fumbled throw. Your streak of bad luck continued, by knocking out your blitzer going for it to get in position. Yet ANOTHER fumbled ball, gets thrown by the crowd across the entire pitch, and halfway to my TD zone.
The mad scramble to reposition and get to the ball ended with a well executed offensive and your 1st TD.
Now down 4 players, I cleanly received the ball, cleared a path to a deep catcher, and..... fell over going for it to get a clean throw.
In a last ditch effort the ball was pushed over the sidelines again, and the crowd threw it down to your TD zone. A beautiful diving tackle cleaned up my only player free to get to the ball, leaving a perfect run for the tying TD on the last turn of the game.
In all, a very well played game with good ole stunty carnage.
Less fumbles on both sides would have seen a wildly different game, which way it would have went? nobody knows.
