“Here the Wrestlers faced a successful Lizardman team. For most of the match this was a horrible contest. Straightaway Under the Sun blitzed us. A snot was smashed aside and Lizards groped at the snot who managed to catch the ball. Les charged forward to make some space to advance in past our opponents but Waterboy was tripped up by a diving tackler and we were already in disarray t1. The ball was picked up and handed off to a Saurus who easily scored. The one hope was that a big blow from Haystacks that killed a skink and an injury caused by Big Daddy might help us change the tide. However next drive Lucan needed his team training to pick up the ball and his sure feet to dash 1 square so couldn't risk racing that little extra to get next to an Ogre. Tom Thumb then had his hip smashed. We moved to one side but a failed bonehead with rr meant we were still shaky. Big Daddy was then 1db powed and our ball carrier was smashed down by the on form Lizards. 2-0 by half time.
On receiving another surprisingly deft Saurus picked up the ball. They advanced and were knocking more snots off the pitch while our Ogres were getting confused. Les did though break tackles and pow down the Saurus carrier. Bicep tried to dodge through to pick up the ball but was injured for his trouble. Another Saurus picked up and scored making it 3-0 with the contest over.
Although it had been a shambolic performance we did give some final flourishes. Les and Lucan were out of the drive suffering from the heat and then we were blitzed at kickoff again. Giant Haystacks was given the ball after a touchback but ran forward and fell on his face. But after a skink picked up Big Daddy dodged away, hit him and picked up the ball! He got away from the chasing Saurii for a fine TD. Then in the last moments we blitzed. Jim managed to badly hurt the Kroxigor though Les twice was too dumb to take his chance to surf a Saurus. Big Daddy threw Lucan forward so he could get the ball near the endzone before avoiding skinks to make a 2-3 scoreline and reach 100 personal spps.
