#6 Rayfield "The Scales" Wright – Smashed Ankle (-MA)
“Both coaches got their NWFL seasons off to a solid start in this cracking match. A draw seemed the fair result given the efforts extended by both coaches, who each had a chance to win the game 2-1.
In the first half a Perfect D had coach MrNomad on this toes and under pressure, however he remained calm and collected and impressively scored with Throg. Following this, coach Hayati had a chance for a late score but this was not realized due to the need to pass with a Stunty in sunny weather!
In the second half coach Hayati was under severe pressure from coach MrNomad's team until a mistake from Glug set the Reptiles free for the equalizer. At the end of the game the Reptiles stole the football after kicking deep into Sharks territory, but the Sharks were able to regain control of the football, just failing on an endzone pass that would have secured the victory for them.
Both coaches should be pleased with their performances and have much to look forward to this season!”
