The first half defense came down to the hobgoblin failing to blitz himself free from the sideline, having survived a horned blitz from Xesediya. Earlier in the half, the troll was killed in the opening blocks and he was left to regenerate - but did not.

In the 2nd half, the offense was strong. Just as it was starting to look comfortable, the dauntless blocker charged at Arnold and damaged his back! The apothecary noted the only way to fix the back was to remove it from it's owner for remodelling. Obviously Arnold wasn't keen, but that puts a bit of a spanner in the works.

Still, we held on for victory and are still in the hunt for the conference title - just!”
