“NCBB S20 NonAQ Conference Play round 3 (game 2 for Karak as I had a bye the 1st week)
1st half, We brought on the Canon from the sideline that is fired when we score a TD to try and gain an advantage (Boomer if you are wondering). 1st turn, I try a bomb..that was intercepted THREE times before finally going off and KO'ing a dwarf (and stunning one). 2nd turn was better, but nothing spectacular. Third turn, I got 2 players off the pitch (one regened), and was able to get the ball--but failed to dodge away and the runner ended up stunned. From there it was down hill, and the Black Pyramids were able to score on turn 8.
2nd half, My slayer's dauntless failed to work many, many times, but I was still able to finally make a break for the EZ. Unfortunately, I was exposed and the ball was knocked out deep in Army's territory--where it stayed the rest of the game. A mummy rolling double skulls opened up an opportunity for Karak to get everyone away from the ball, pick it up and score the tying TD on turn 8.
many ways both teams could of/should have won this one.
Junior gets stronger, learning Mighty Blow after facing the Tough Kemri team.
