Totally surprised by the result.
First half, the Lords were able to stall for the long 8 turns without further notice. The banned zombie in the first foul and the BH st4 ghoul made it possible.
Once again, thralls stood (short of) in the second half opening kick. Due to several valuable targets together, the wizzard struck, though only the BC was downed. With some gazeing and dodging, the Lords were able to pick the ball and pass it forward. Geniuses were able to recover the ball and play it open, but the Lords came close and steal the ball again.
Then, the decissive action of the game happened. The Frenzy ghoul blitzed the ball carrier achieving only pushes. That opened the way for vamps to score, which they did.
2-0 ahead, vamps decided for a deep defence. Geniuses did well closing to the scoring line and when the path was clear, the BC decided to hand over to a gazed comrade. He was unable to catch the ball and the bounce allowed the Lords to pick up the ball and run widly. 2 vamps sprinted forward. Geniuses were able to put a tackle into the ball carrier, but he dodged away and scored.
Thanks to candlejack for the game and the sportmanship.”
