“1's and Skull's made it hard to score.

1st half, I receive..feint one way, try to reverse field, but it didn't quite work. I lost the ball due to poor positioning, but managed to get it back later--only to fail a GFI (and stunned my runner) trying to get some separation. Still, managed to block up the Illini, and get the ball back again, only to fail the GFI for the TD on turn 7. Not sure if I should have gone for it there or not, as I had most of his team bottled up anyway--but the Bull is fast! (though in multiple TZ's. So, we go to half 0-0

2nd half was a disaster from the start. One of the LOS Blocers is KO'd right off. then another is BH (the 1st injury of the season vs the Dwarves of Karak), then more skulls and failed GFI's (I failed at least 4 GFI's during the game). Both teams had been equally unlucky in the 1st half, with the Fumbbling Illini getting several failed blocks in--but in the 2nd half, all the bad luck seemed to go only towards the Dwarves of Karak. Couldn't stop their TD, but had 3 turns to score an equalizer...Blitz.. I did get a pass in..then with 2 turns to do, my slayer skulls on the 2nd block of a frenzy to leave me out of scoring range at all (not that I would have made it as even if I was unopposed, there were at least 3 GFI's I would have had to make.

Larry does complete a pass (using a RR on a failed GFI to get into quick pass range), giving him a skill (block). Probably will buy an apoth next. :)
