“In their 6th match, the Mice faced off against the Ogre team the "Bashing Bigalows." This match had all the markings of an even event, but the Ogres of the Bigalows decided that facing a team of mice was beneath them. In the first kickoff of the game, no less than 3 Ogres decided that the clouds were more interesting than the game at hand. This allowed the Mice to take some momentum in the game and set up a defense. All through out the first half, the Ogres made little progress and their hits were stale at best. The mice were able to set up a strong defensive position and stop the Ogre carrying the ball by pushing him into the sidelines were the Mice fans threw the ball back in perfectly for star player Al Mascarpone to quickly gain possession. To prevent a Bigalow score, the Mice threw Mascarpone down field in a Mice version of a punt. Going into half time the score was 0-0 and neither team had a numbers advantage.

The Mice were set to receive in the second half and a poor kick put the ball right into the hands of Mice Star Al Mascarpone. The kickoff saw some serious momentum for the Mice as Baobob Parker determined the price was right and took an ogre out. The second half saw a lot of positioning and the two treemen were aces in there ability to keep the Ogres at bay. Mascarpone had a lot of frustrating blocks, but in the end, he found the end endzone without too much trouble giving the Mice the 1-0 win.
