That said, this was unreal.
Putting aside armor and injury rolls, the mind-bogglingly perfect Pitch Invasion, etc... just looking simply dodges and blocks:
The Halflings attempt 44 dodges in this game and failed... exactly 1.
The Norse attempted 34 blocks–– on a team full of Block–– and failed 2 of those 34. (Double Skulls, naturally, the only way Blocker could fail.)
The Halflings attempted 36 blocks (10 of which were 1D or -2D) –– on a team with 2 blockers–– and failed (BothDown or Skulls) ... exactly 1 block, which was, ironically, a 3-die with a tree.
Norse! Outblocked both in quantity AND quality by Halflings!
It was a simply amazing performance.
