Game delayed almost 24 hours due to a server restart near the end of the game. The Apedogs apparently did not have very good ale on the side lines (or was it too good), as they failed 7 of 8 KO rolls during the game (only to get 3 of 4 back after the last TD--which had ended the game)
1st half opens with a pitch invasion, that gets 2 Dwarves and 3 Apes. The KAMU goes to town on 1db's (having block helped a lot, but I succeeded a bit more than normal anyway). Still, a lot of pushes (especially on Helmut, who I couldn't get off the pitch until late in the drive). The Apedogs even got the 1st casualty, BH'ing Mitch (used the apoth). The drive had started out well, but the Ape's strength (and my lack of guard), slowed it down enough that I lost control of the ball for a turn or so. Still, was eventually able to get the ball and score--and by that time(turn 8), there were 4 Apes KO'd, one BH and SI'd. A bribe was attempted on Helmut--but the dwarven ref was unbuyable. 1 of the 4 KO's came back (3x1's). and we went to half up 1-0.
2nd half, the apes were still down 5 players and the Dwarves were down 1 (so, with both teams starting at 12 players, it was 7 on 11), and a blitz followed by a dropped pick up by the apes, allowed the dwarves to score quickly to go up 2-0. This is when the server restarted and we didn't pick up again until the next day.
Despite being down 6 players to 11, the apes were able to score quickly, making it close at 2-1. But still the KO's did not want to come back and Karak Dwarves were able easily score a 3rd TD on turn 8.
1st win for the Dwarves (vs 1 loss and 3 ties). 1st game for the Apedogs, so they are at one loss (they replaced another team).

Simyin are an interesting concept. High Strenth, Fast BoB's with grab and not as heavy armor, medium/slow speed (faster than dwarves, but not that much). Extra arms on everyone so picking up the ball should be easier than the general agility 2 would suggest. The weirdest is wrestle on their fastest, most agile player--wrestle doesn't seem like it's what you want on a ball carrier....
