Ah, an old foe, the 3rd time these two long-in-the-tooth necromantic teams have met.

My defense came undone on a fizzled wizard and my drive was starting to look like a disaster - but then the team dug in and started to do damage. First a legend wolf was badly hurt prior to the equaliser. Soon a foul accounts for the pomber wight and Pig Sty Alley somehow managed to prevent the Raiders scoring a 2nd in regulation time; a failed go for it balances a flesh golem catching the wet ball.

Receiving in overtime with extra players, it looked good. Perfect defense made it more competitive and spirited defense kept making the Palm retreat. Perhaps there were opportunities to cage further downfield, but as it was the Raiders even briefly stole the ball and forced the coin toss - which they won.

Good game! It went down to the wire, but victory was well deserved. May we meet again in the next final.”
