#6 King Nothing – Dead (RIP)

For the third match we play a Khemri team, with some great (ON PAPER) Tomb Guardians, but rookie Thro-ra's. The initial plan was to keep the TG's busy and hunt for the ball while trying to foul the rest of the team off the pitch, and using the wizard for defense.
As bloodbowl goes, first half said NO to these plans, and we re starting the second drive in defense, 0-0, having used both the bribe ánd the wizard. (Juicy detail: lighting strikes and kills King Nothing, the fast moving agility 3 Blitzra (Juicier detail, said blitzra died thanks to a niggle he attracted earlier in the tournament due to getting hit by another lighting strike).
Second half comes in and nuffle TOTALLY ruins all of Khemri's well-laid plans. A failed pickup, TONS of skulls for the blockless TG's and to add insult to injury a BLITZ result at kickoff. In the end the humans manage three touchdowns in the second half thanks to their superior speed and agilty.
I'm happy with the win, but the fact that we lost count of the amount of skulls Khemri threw offsets some of that. Cheers to Spydyr for being cool and taking this dicing with all possible grace.”
