A snowy game kept GFI's to a minimum, as the 'Sons couldn't bring any bash to the AV 7 WElfs, and so had to face too many Blodgestepping defenders both drives. Almost turned the opening WElf possession into a defensive score, but Ag 4 (and 6!) and MA 8 snatched the score back again after a final 2d on the ballcarrier failed its GFI.
The 2nd half Norse drive to tie was a stalemate near the LoS until Turn 4, when the Norse ballcarrier failed a 3+ Dodge and -St'd himself off the field (saved to MNG via Apo). But, with the ball easily within range of unmarked players, the Titans opened their Turn 4 with quad-Both-Down with a no-skill blocker, and the Sons were back in business. Turning the corner on the defense, they pushed up and chose to stall one Turn on the 2 yard line - but WElf Leapers and Dodgers bypassed the cage and found a Pow, and recovered, and Blodgesteppers held on for the win.”
