“Given the start of the game - which was a one sided affair for the 2nd game in succession following the FC exit, also at the hands of lizards - a draw was a good result.
However in light of a lucky turnover and counter TD, victory was thrown away when the last 2 turns of the match presented terrible dice that should have been avoided. I neglected to move Aztec T7 and the opening block was a double skull. T8, I made a go for it on the blitz with the Butcha instead of using Aztec to dodge - and failed it.
So that was badly done by me, but Madvig will have been cursing an absolute disaster of a 2nd half following a dominant first half where a failed hand off to a Saurus really backfired. The ball scattered via a skink into a square Aztec could grab it and the blitzer never looked back as Madvig's luck crumbled. 2nd half the legend skink Qoll pulls out a POW on Aztec to steal and equalize, but all the kayoed orcs come back and then a quad skulls for Madvig seals the game - or so we thought.
In the end a bit of a bizarre one. It is always a pleasure to play Madvig though. Quick and fun, even if the dice frustrate.”
