“Well, that was one strange game in which ravno was cheated of his victory in a way I have never seen before.
He recieved for the first half, but with some nice plays I got the ball and made a dash towards the Endzone, only to fail that critical GFI.
He, in turn, made it all the way downfield, while blocking the bejesus out of my hapless Ratmen, carried the ball into the endzone, but alas, NBBA officials denied the TD for him.
Both teams with zero TD into the lockers.
Seriously understrength I managed to score, despite a blitz! against me. It looks like I always make TD in my offensive drives, when I my squad is depleted. I could fill books with stories like that.
I had a small chance scoring the (fake) winning TD, when I got into possession but could not capitalize on it when my fresh Rat Ogre Eyegouger failed a GFI. He scored the equalizer in the 8th turn effectively unpressed by my depleted horde.
At least ravno seemed to have fun pulping my Rats into submission and did not complain about the strange events.
