Information:
Intercepted by a vessel designated USS Enterprise NCC-1701. Crew consisted of eleven Human subjects, accompanied by a much larger creature.
Analysis:
Most of the subjects lacked any obvious skills although four of the Humans had an attack skill that we strived to acquire rapidly. The larger subject was unpredictable but dangerous when functioning correctly.
Threat Assessment:
Medium. One drone was killed by the over-sized subject. The Humans possessed limited armour and four were removed. One of the Humans appeared to be ready to be assimilated, but was revived. A second was not and was assimilated by the Borg.
Outcome:
Unfavourable for the Hive although the assimilated subject was aware of the Block skill.

We managed to neutralise and capture a Borg drone for further analysis but in the process of carrying out the mission we lost a valued crewmate, ensign 'Raise Shields' - We were unable to retrieve the body and now fear that the genetic information gained by the Borg will make them harder to defeat next time we meet......”
