#2 Ben Malicin'ya ii – Pinched Nerve (MNG)
    1. NCBB Ssn 20, Game 7

For three (yes, three!) halves, the Tigers outplayed the Aggroes to one degree or another, but at the end Nuffle decided on a snaked 2+ Sure Hands handoff that Aggroes should steal the win. And not for the first time this meeting...

There is no record of the first half - it's suspected that officials destroyed the evidence of their incompetence. After a dominant 7-Turn Tiger drive and looking to stall, induced star Eldril tripped while trying to Pass Block. The refs waited for him to "reach a valid destination" - which was never going to happen with him on the ground. They conferred, and called in the Admin, and decided that restarting the game was the only solution! Tigers get robbed of leading at the half, game starts fresh.

New First half, Tigers received again, but much(!) more disciplined defense (and a Guard KO'd Turn 1) pressured the Tigers to opt for an easy score Turn 3, 0-1 Tigers.

Turn 3 the Tiger Guard had not woken up as the Aggroes received, and Texas started by BH'ing one Lino and MNG'g another, with a third Stunned, putting the Tigers a bit back on their heels can caging near midfield. 2 Turns later, Turn 5, they BH'd Ag 6 super-star ballhandler Chow (kept in the game via Apo), but with only 8 on the field the Tigers could not maintain the position they needed, and Texas was able to maintain a cage enough to tie the score T8, 1-1.

2nd half Texas received against a full Missouri starting roster less the still-sleeping Guard. Turn 2 Texas found another BH on a lino, and surfed another KO'd Turn 3. Only multiple 1's could slow Missouri's Ag 6 star on the blitz but without RR could find only a Push. Turn 3, after sloppy Texas screening, a different blitzer found a 1d Pow (and a BH on the rookie WE), but the ball bounced into the hands of nearby Eldril. Missouri's Diving Tackle Sidestepper was in the mix now, tying up several players and only wanting to be blocked into better position. Texas caged near the goal line, the Ag 6 only needed 2 2+ dodges for the 1d - first rolled a "1" but was saved via Dodge, 2nd rolled a "1" but was saved via Team RR - and then a misclick aborted the 1d, leaving him surfable. But Turn 5, despite still being up effectively 10 players to 8 (one Tiger Catcher waiting expectantly at the far end of the of the field to score), Texas felt the pressure - the surf failed, but the score didn't, Texas 2-1.

Turn 5 the Sun came out, but Missouri was back to a full roster (finally including their Guard) against Texas minus their rookie Witch, with 4 Turns to tie it up. A fluke kick sailed deep, and both teams started conservatively, holding the line, and Turn 6 the Tigers used their blitz to surf a Blocking lino, but were only able to send 1 Catcher deep - and Texas BH'd him. Turn 7 the Tigers KO'd a Tackler (one of only two on the Texas roster!), and slipped 4(!) potential receivers into scoring range, including 2 NoS Catchers and one Blodgestepper. Texas' remaining players could not contain them all, and attempted to use Eldril's Pass Block to stop the others, but that ploy was easily countered by the the Tigers.

And, with 1 RR in the bank, that left only a Turn 16 2+ Pass, 2+ Catch, and handoff to a Sure Hands Catcher - who dropped the ball, game over, Texas 2-1.

Not the way it should have ended if there were any justice in this game, but the way it ended nonetheless.
