“Here's a reminder to me that skaven can win any game, anytime.
The orks kicked to me and got the BLITZ, wrapping around my sides a bit. Now out of position, on my first turn I ran down field to prepare for the easy score. Now WAY out of position, I rolled skulls on the AG4 surehands pickup. Bad. The orks descend on the ball and put it in 3 tackle zones. On turn 2 I try to dodge away and risk a grab, but throw snakes on the easy dodge as well. VERY BAD.
The orks scoop the ball and prepare to stall, but some dodging magic and a leaping strip baller puts it in slight danger, so the orks score turn 4.
Heat makes it 9 on 9 and the rats score pretty easy after. And in the second half.. Heat makes it 8 against 7 in the rats favor!!! This, despite no orks have been hurt at this point. All sunshine, baby. The rats kick to orks but quickly strip the ball away and scoop it up, using the mega move allowances to run it to safety.
Mega move then allows them to stall enough to win the game turn 14.
Unlucky game Malf. Some bad dice for both of us.. but it's just what skaven do, capitolize on other people's bad dice. Bad enemy dice are more important for skaven than good skaven dice. And EVERYONE gets bad dice sometime each game. Damn rats. They're everywhere.
