“Fumbbl Cup XIII - Round 5

First tough match-up for les Vent-Marcheurs, facing for the first time in this tournament another CPOMB team.
No one would have expected so many cas with all those killers!
1 cas made by a CPOMB, 1 by a CMB, 1 by a rookie beastman, and the last one on a foul. Unfortunately, Zed died on a dodge failed. I already knew he was a coward... :)

First half, we kick. A deep defense to prevent blitz and to bring L.A. Herd closer to our cpombers.
LoS survived pretty well, and we only suffered KO's during the whole half.
L.A. Herd attack was pretty careful, he prefered to gauge the power of my cpombers before bringing his BC. But Sov, my frenzy guy, sidle in the attack to find some blood and to disorganise the L.A. Herd plans. It worked well, and my great star Dada reached the BC to recover the ball. With some luck she had an opportunity to throw the ball to Sov who was in range to score, but she failed the pass.
0-0 to start the second half.

A classical attack at the center of the pitch, to have a better control of the pitch and to force L.A. Herd to create spaces in their defense. Cpombers still throw players to the KO box, but it's enough to move forward, to find a breach and to sidle behind the defense. L.A. Herd couldn't stop us, they tried to blitz my BC but every attempt failed (blizzard??).

Donny, thanks for the match. It was intense and funny, despite the lack of blood! Grats to have reached the 5th round of the FC, nice performance. And grats for this match, you made some mistakes maybe, but I had enough luck on KO rolls and your failed blitz to go to score more easily.
