Early snakes on a gfi cost the elves the ball and forced the early use of the wizard. Although they managed to score, they sorely missed the wizard. Meanwhile, Black Rose and I Ran (So Far Away) had a hide-and-seek contest. Black Rose won, as she even hid from the Bloodweiser Babes. Still, this was a tight match until midway through the 2nd half when the MTV crew removed 4 dark elves after they got the ball loose but failed to pick it up. To be fair, it was in 4 TZs, but giving it right back to Cult of Personality was a bit over the top. I decided to risk a handoff to get some SPPs on the rookie Ghoul, What's Love Got To Do With It? Apparently, he said what does Catching have to do with it as we spent the last reroll to secure the ball and the win. Only downside for the MTV generation was Shiny Happy People took the entire game off and the next one too. Uppity Zombie, thinking he's special because he has Guard.
Thanks for the game, OTS, and well played. GL in your next tournament.
Footnote - this was the MTV team's 70th game. My longest played team on FUMBBL.”
