“A match that was tight, a first half that looked like it was going to end in a stalemate, but the casualties kept coming...!
A second half that looked more in favour to the norsemen, but Sigfried... oh Sigfried... why oh why?
A great match, A great opposing coach. A pleasure!
And till next time ;)”
“Future Legend won the coin toss and chose to receive. Nathaniel was back to pick up the ball while his teammates tried to pry open a path against Vikrund's Vicious Vipers. They were slightly successfully knocking out almost half of the opponents by the end of the half. Yet, the Norsemen put a lot of pressure on the backfield forcing the Wishmaster to scramble forward where he was met head on by an Ulf. He tried to dump the ball off to Taebin but the Dark Elf dropped it. Draeke was there to snatch the ball in front of the Ulf and lob it to Khaine. Khaine dropped the ball and was taken down in the process. Draeke came to the rescue once more and picked up the ball in a tackle zone, rushed right through a Norseman and sped into the endzone to put his team up by one at the break.
VVV received in the second half and Sigfried rushed forward with the ball. The Norsemen began to devastate the Dark Elves and it finally looked like the Legends were not going to come away with a win for the very first time. It all changed when Sigfried tried to hit Bane with the ball as he was showing off to the fans. Bane reversed the attack and flipped the Norseman on his head causing a fumble. Nathaniel sped in like a vulture to steal the ball. He was caught near the redzone but managed to dump the ball off to the waiting hands of Alarow. Draeke, the hero of the first half, cost his team the ball as he attacked an Ulf but was brought down instead. This left Alarow in a bad situation where he was instantly taken down.
A Norsemen grabbed the ball but Linken came in and sacked him causing another fumble. Angry, the Snow Troll body slammed Revan onto the ball sending it bouncing away and into the hands of Linken. Linken would run away and throw a long bomb to the endzone where Alarow was wide open. The Arrow of Awesome would catch the ball and score at the last second to the applause of the crowd. Coach Solidsod had to nod his approval stating, "Sweet, sweet, play."
