Whilst patrolling the sector for evidence of further Borg incursions we encountered a small fleet of ships, and despite our attempts to avoid hostilities they refused to return our hails and opened fire. During the attack, we experienced a number of shipwide electronics failures, although these were swiftly dealt with and the fleet identified as 'Halfling' were driven off. Although their ships were individually no match for the Enterprise they should not be underestimated when engaged as a group.
Following the encounter, I ordered Mr. Scott to review and upgrade our systems, which I can now report has been successful beyond our hopes. The upgrades are listed below (3 skill rolls....BOOM!)
