“What started out in a collegiate atmosphere, an exhibition of rattiness, ended up drenched in blood and carpeted in loose fur. Margaret Rat-cher dominated the affair with an incredible 5 casualties including her opposing number and a late kill. When the second half began, a numerical superiority immediately set in, and so the Rats of Ill Repute became obsessed more with claw than with paw and set about reducing their opponents still further. The blood lust was so overpowering that the first half's authoritative ball movement gave way to several dropped catches, blood having slickened the receiver's paws. Indeed for a moment it looked like the 'coup-de-grace' might never be delivered and a turn 8 fumble would signal the end. The red mist thankfully ascended just enough in turn 8 for the gutter runners to team up to finish the rout as was appropriate, with a score and no opponents left standing...
