Dreadknights won the coin toss and chose to receive. They wanted to ground and pound their rival Dark Elf with Talion running the ball. He would be caged up by the left side of the field. A fireball hit the cage stunning a player and knocking another out. This left the ballcarrier wide open to be sacked, unfortunately for FC Dallas their Blitzer stumbled going for the sack. DK would recover their cage and tie up their opponents. Talion would speed to the right side of the field with no one in pursuit. He would score on their last turn of the half. FCD would attempt a one turn score but a Perfect Defense ended all their hope at tying the game.

FCD received in the second half and it was ten versus ten. DK attacked the FCD offensive line putting pressure on their players. They would break it down just before midway through the half and their Runner carrying the ball scrambled to the left side of the field. Malikith dodged through the front lines and sacked the Quarterback badly hurting him in the process. However, a last second dump off to the Witch Elf, Kevin Hartman, kept the ball in FCD's possession.

With the clock against them at this point of the game, Kevin ran to DK territory where his teammates began to cage him up. They were able to get three out of four of the corners of the cage covered but their last man stumbled trying to dodge. This left their ballcarrier open. Draeke came from behind and tackled Kevin sending the ball flying forward. Emeyin made several key dodges to grab the ball in a tackle zone and dodged away again. He would get tackled and it looked like FCD was going to tie the game up. Macion their high speed Blitzer picked up the ball in a tackle zone but couldn't make the dodge away to freedom. He fell and the ball bounced away from him.

Draeke's number was called again and he hit the one opponent next to the ball. The player sidestepped onto the ball and launched it right into the hands of Draeke. Draeke dodged away and he was covered by two guarding specialists. Two attempts were made at him but he stayed strong remaining on his feet until time ran out in regulation. DK escape with a victory to send them to the second round.
