“Well we won the toss and what a great start it was - high kick caught by cdassak then 3 KOs on the LOS, then on the Norse turn 1 and Lino BH himself trying a GFI!
There was a good scrap for the ball, zoul playing well despite being outmanned but eventually on Turn 7 the ball had bounced for Ronnie and he made a Blitz and 2 GFI to threaten the score which he thankfully made.
Arnie came back from KO for the second half but even bigger was only the 3 Linos recovering for the Norse, the best two (Dodge SS Runner and MB Blitzer) staying out.
2nd half started our 11 vs their 9, with Bomber Dribblesnot taking the field at last. We put 5 Brogres on the line hoping that the Norse would fail -2DBs and 1 DBs annd they didnt :).
I learnt my lessin from the CD game though and held tight on D, refusing to overcommit.
By turn 4 it was 8 v 8, some poor snots getting victimised, but we had a chance with a 2DB to get a BT blitz on the ball but bonehead stopped it.
Turn 5 we managed to get DT snot on the ball which made the Norse use their blitz on him, giving us time for the all or nothing BT blitz on turn 6. Boom Ball in the crowd and PERFECT scatter into the Norse half.
They tried some heroics to recover but unluckily for them their failed pick up was caught on a 6 by Dorian who managed to trundle into the endzone on turn 8.

The dice were with me big style here and though I made a few errors it was almost plain sailing.
