The dice were clearly one-sided, all in my favour. There was little I could do wrong, and the only way I could have lost was if I were trying to.

After snakes on the weather (1+1 = sweltering heat), I rolled 6+6 on FAME to get the whole crowd with me. Another 6+6 on the first kickoff led to a pitch invasion, which of course left me in a favourable position being the one with the crowd on my side. To his credit fxiii made a decent drive of it, but the illegal substitution card that I picked up from inducement money came in handy after he crowdpushed one of my hobgoblins, bringing him back in time to prevent the TD. To add injury to insult - literally - the apoth failed to save his beastman Urgash from a fractured leg.

To begin the second half, his KO'ed beastman refused to come back, making it 11 v 9 before checking for heat exhaustion. After three of his players succumbed to the heat, it became 11 v 6 on the pitch, and the result wasn't really in doubt.
