The Mimes muffed their first turn leaving the team up a proverbial creek. Still the paper armor held up through most of the first half and they managed an undeserved steal and subsequent touchdown.

They were however unable to stop Armageddon from pushing down the sideline and equalizing at the end of the half.

Clearly the highlight of the match was when the loner elf William Hideousorc stepped up to gang foul a downed Bull. The recently sharpened blade gutted its prey in a single flash of steel.

The Mimes received in the second half and took their time. They coughed up the ball and for a moment it looked like there would be a scrum. However, a loose ball bounced into a Blitzer's hands and she was able to avoid the dwarfs in the closing moments of the game. Her score sealed it for the Mimes.

As the second half raged, Kondor could feel the frustration mount on the opponent's sideline. Coach Matteo did everything he could. Nuffle was simply not there for him today.
