Gries Magises won the coin toss and chose to receive. Traxadiris picked up the ball and remained in the backfield. They took three Dreadknights off the field early in the game with a combination of blocks and fouls. Lucretia's patience wore thin and she blasted a rookie and seriously injured him. She continued into the opponents territory to put pressure on the ballcarrier. Traxadiris was aware of the raging Witch Elf and scrambled up the left side of the field where he was flanked by his teammates. They couldn't send anymore players to protect him as his teammates were busy kicking a downed Lazarus. Lucretia took advantage of the situation and threw a wild elbow that knocked Traxadiris unconscious causing a fumble in the process. Linken ran from all the way across the field to pick up the ball almost falling in the process. A lightning bolt hit Lucretia but a misblock by a GM Line Elf wasted the Wizard's efforts. Linken sped up the field and handed the ball off to Talion for a touchdown to end the half.

DK received in the second half and they wanted to lay some ground and pound. Both teams came into the half with a full compliment of players. Lady McDeath went deep into DK territory where she was seriously injured by Lazarus. Talion ran the ball into a cage but a corner of it was peeled away. Loukritia came in for a solo tackle but was taken down instead. However, he did manage to panic Talion into throwing a wild pass that went to no one. Emeyin was there to recover the ball and he would run it up the field. A hand off to Gaberial for a touchdown would seal the victory. DK move on to the XFL IX Semi-Finals.
