This could have been an epic battle of the bands (delightful coincidence of team theme collision there). It was not. In his first real game on FUMBBL, magictobe may have also had his unluckiest game on FUMBBL for a long time.

It started of with advantage rats as a T0 blitz led to a T1 funky score. From there we had a tense half where rat armor held and it looked like the Undead my even it up. But then came Skitter.

After missing his first two stabs, skitter proceeded to hit all the rest all game long. He showed up on T7 to stab the ghoul with the ball, and proceeded to remove 4 ghouls over the next 5 turns - and one of them returned to be removed again by skitter. This craziness needs some actual numbers:

first two stabs, av 7 and av8 miss. After that we have 6 hits on av 7 and 1 on av 8, resulting in the removal of 5 ghouls, one ghoul stun and the removal of a zombie. My back of the envelop math indicates that a run of 7 hits on such armor is about 1/1000, let alone the damage caused!

The icing on the cake is another Skaven blitz, which just padded the already silly score. I have nothing but respect for the way magictobe handled this drubbing, as he was a gentleman throughout. I hope we have a rematch worthy of legend someday!
