Dwarves don't put on the right armor and suffer for it. No referee's show up for the game
1st half I had to score early, as the humans were gang fouling anyone on the ground, and with the ref's out of the picture, this seemed to be effective. By the end of the drive, I was down to 11 players, while Bluwood Blu had 12 (both teams started with 13)--we were even on casualties, but I didn't use the apothecary while he did on the Ogre. Then the armor mistake showed it's ugly head. By the time they scored one turn 7, I had 2 KO'd, and another injured--and had suffered many stuns as well. I was giving back though, with 2 kills and BH his Star Player Borris. Still, with 2 KO recoveries, only one KO came back, and I started the next half with 9 dwarves vs 10 humans.
2nd half continued the pounding. Yeah, the dwarves actually won the casualty count, but I wasn't KO'ing or even stunning any, while it seemed that there was at least one dwarf stunned every turn. Bad positioning also played a major role as well. One last, desperate blitz to prevent the TD actually worked (2x4+dodge, a 3+ dodge, and a 1db vs block/dodge) resulted in a POW and my guy with the ball in the EZ corner (so when he was blocked, he could only go out of bounds). Unfortunately, we were in the wrong EZ, as 1) Nelson was BH (apothed just in case) and 2) the ball was not thrown way down field :(
No riot on the ensuing KO, meant that the dwarves of KAMU would be going home and BBT would be advancing
no new skills.
