“A mistake in the opening minutes of the game saw the Flesh allow an easy touchdown. However, things rapidly went downhill for the Masquerade from there, with a Thrall getting killed and the magic sponge failed to bring his mangled body back to life.

The Flesh started to dominate as they sent player after player into the KO or casualty bin. At the end of the first period, it was 1 all, but the Masquerade were down a couple of players.

Early in the second half, the Masquerade's Vampire Venture was killed by a cruel Hellbringer block and they were unable to prevent the Flesh from scoring again. Although the Vampire team made a valiant attempt at a last equalising TD, it proved to be too difficult as they were outnumbered almost 3 to one on the pitch.

Lots of bad rolls for my opponent. I had a pitch invasion that stunned 4 and KO'd one, but it was not enough as he regularly had more than half his Vamps Off For a Bite apart from his first defensive set in which he had all 6 on the pitch.”
