“In the first quarter, the Broken Toys' Apo was actually sober AND awake and saved Knex from a broken leg. Since Knex scored both TDs, that was a pivotal point in the match. At the end of the 1st quarter, Funky Frank pulled off a key dodge and managed to take down the ball carrier, impressive since Funky had no block or dodge skill but the coach did have to use a reroll. Slyp Fitter then managed an even more impressive set of dodges thru tackle zones and go for it to scoop up the ball using his sure hands. Continuing the dodge trend, Killum escaped and managed to cover Slyp.

T5-BT Sadly to start the 2nd quarter, Big Wheel Deux of the BT team tried to mimic the other teams dodging success but failed.

T5-ST tried to take advantage of that mistake but a key failed block in T5 forced the use of a reroll and the coach decided to play it safe, especially after knocking out the BT's wiley blitzer. The BT's own Ogre, Stretch Armstrong faced down his fellow big man Rex and refused to budge an inch. Throwing caution to the wind, the ST's coach calls for a full out blitz by the ball carrier Slyp, he manages to knock down BT's rookie Slinky, knocking him out and breaks into the clear doesn't reach mid-field. Funky Frank moves to cover him. Booty Brown attempts to knock down Paddle Ball but PB uses his newly learned sidestep to move to an advantageous position. In a massive show of bravery TY's Stickam throws a undermanned block at BT's Ogre, Strech Armstrong, knocking him to the pitch.

T6-BT: Stretch shakes it off and stands up. BT's blitzer Marbles, moves to threaten Funky and Slyp covering both with his guard skill. The QB Monopoly, throws a key block to free up Paddle Ball pushing Booty out of the way leaving Paddle Ball with a straight shot at the ball carrier. PB lines up on Slyp and POW!!! down he goes, right on his head, dead but luckily the ST's Apo manages to heal his severed spine and it's only a pinched nerve but Slyp's day is done and he will need some time to rest up. The ball bounces right to edge of the pitch and sits there. Legos loses his mind and throws an even stregth block but luckily, it's a lot of nothing.

T6-ST The coach wants that Ogre down so Rex starts off with a block on Stretch, the dreaded both down and they both end up on the turf...turnover.....and not one ST player is marking the ball.

T7-BT First order given is to get that Ogre back on his feet. Legos throws a block on Bitey Bart (who for some reason is wearing a KNEE brace on the pitch, talk about making himself a target), down he goes and apparently some previous injury got him as he's knocked out. QB Monopoly moves to get closer to the ball covering Funky Frank just in case. Big Wheel moves to cover Killum so he can't try his tricks again. Marbles takes out Funky Frank, knocking him out of the game. Paddle Ball is ordered to blitz but he gets distracted just seeing the ball on the pitch so he tries to pick it and take it with him.......nope....that's why your a BLITZER....turnover. ball bounces into the crowd and is thrown back out and sits IN THE BT's SIDE OF THE PITCH!!!!! Uh-oh.

T7-ST Rex gets back up and then Booty Brown makes a break for the ball and he gets it!!! No BT player is within 5 spaces and there's no one even on this side of the pitch....could it be??? Booty churns his legs going for all he can. He can sense that he could score...On the other end of the field, Dirty Dean catches Hot Wheel napping and crushes him to the turf, ending his day. Stickan dodges away from the Ogre and moves to cover Booty getting between the BT players and the ball carrier.

T8-BT BT players turn and sprint to try to catch the ballcarrier....BT's Blitzer Marbles is told to live up to his name and go for it all, he takes off for the ballcarrier knowing he's going to have to dodge Dirty Dean to get there. He blazes past Dirty and now it's the Booty's turn. Marbles lowers his head, goes for it and barrels into Booty and POW!!!! down goes Booty! The ball comes loose but it bounces just out of reach of Marbles and is loose again. Stretch is beside himself waiting to block and gets his chance..BOOM! Down goes Rex in a heap. This frees Legos to go help out in the backfield.

T8-ST The star catcher, Sneaky Pete sprints down the sideline to mark Marbles, Booty then gets up and blitzes Marbles, pushing him back and follows up leaving the ball behind....but wait, what's this? Stickan dodges out and tries to pick up the ball.....ooops...and the coach calls for a reroll but they are all gone.

End of the half. Score 0-0 but the injuries are becoming an issue for ST as ST can only field 10 players but they do receive the kickoff. BT lines up in their star formation as players just can't seem to figure out where they are supposed to be.

T9-ST Here's the kick!!! BT's kicker must be excited because he puts the ball off the pitch and Sneaky Pete is granted the ball. ST throws some blocks at the LOS, knocking down BT's lambs but nothing exciting happens. Dirty Dean blitzes the kicker stepping on his head and the kicker is stunned....next time Etch line up BEHIND the Ogre..ST's coach has something up his sleeve....is that a cage???? He's forming cage! A perfect cage with the ball carrier in the middle.

T9-BT BT's coach has been teaching the boys how to break a cage, let's see if they learned. Stretch rumbles in to get set up at the front of the cage. Legos, that mighty man, blitzes...Bitey?? Oh man, Legos is really looking to take Bitey out so he hits him low, right on that knee brace..he misses the target at first but on the 2nd try hits him but fails to take him out..down but not out..but there's the ballcarrier right in front of him. Marbles sprints in to mark the ball and add some strength to Legos. The BTs move in to strengthen the force at the front of the cage and to make sure the ball doesn't get reversed.

T10-ST Bitey gets up slowly, that block hurt him but not enough. At the other end of the line, Big Wheel eats dirt. ST coach calls to reverse the ball or does he? He's splitting his team and calls for Sneaky Pete to pass!!! Sneaky tries to dodge out but stumbles, tries to right himself and BOOM!!! down he goes, and here comes the stretchers folks....hope it;s not serious but he's done for the game...

T10-BT Legos tries to take down Bitey again and no dice this time. the QB Monopoly uses his tackle to take down Dirty Dean and pushes Dean into Rex and pushes Rex in the opposite direction from the ball stunning Dean in the process. Marbles has had enough of Stickan, knocking him down but Stickan refuses to budge. Knex moves to mark the ball and here comes Stretch as the coach yells at him NOT to try to pick it up, he thinks about trying to but Knex shows him a picture of a cow and he's distracted. Skate Board takes a run at Bitey, this time he takes that leg right out causing the brace to explode and a piece takes out Bitey's eye. Paddle Ball swoops in to try to get the ball, it slips out of his hands but he manages to recover. He takes off leaving his fellow players behind, um Paddle?

T11-ST Looks like ST is conceding the score and is looking get some BT arse. Two BT players go down but nothing ugly happens. Stickan dodges out, stumbles almost makes it and BOOM down he goes.....stunned..

T11-BT Stretch moves in to go toe to toe with Rex again..Monopoly goes nuts and throws another blitz...he just wants to show off his tackle skill. Knex heads for the end zone but stops just short, no idea why..the remaining BT players circle the ST players like hungry sharks. And what is this? Paddle Ball thinks he's a QB? He throws the ball the Knex and it's a completion!

T12-ST Killum throws a block on Skate Board, knocking him to the ground, sadly Rex is distracted and picks his nose. Booty Brown dodges out and fouls Skate Board but doesn't break armor, the ref is distracted down at the other end of the pitch...Booty you are a marked man...

T12-BT BT throw a couple of blocks and push players around. Then Legos lines up on Booty again, knocking him down but that's all. Knex then scores to give BT the lead!!!!

T13-ST BT lines up in their E formation???? Not sure what's going on but the coach is not pleased. ST is down to 8 players but still put 5 on the LOS with only 2 men deep. Here's the kick! The BT's kicker tries to put it short on the other side of the pitch from the ST's players but doesn't quite pull it off. Dirty Dean stuns Slinky and the ST players form up on the sidelines down the right hand side. Cheety Chuck gets the ball and fades back.

T13-BT Stretch moves to cover the sideline formation and Knex and Big Wheel move to pressure the ball carrier. A single block is thrown that pushes an ST player to the sideline.

T14-ST Wait....what is this??? In a brilliant move, Dirty Dean dodges out and heads down the completely empty left side! Has the ST coach called a pass????? Cheety surges forward with his arm cocked, he stumbles as he advances but is able to right himself and launches a perfect strike right in Dirty Dean's hands!!! And he drops it!

T14-BT The embarrased BT coach screams at his time to get the ball. ST's Killum is pushed into the crowd and he gets knocked out while crowd surfing. Stretch ignores the order and throws a block at Stickan, knocking him down and out. Paddle Ball sprints to cover Dirty Dean. BT's agile Blitzer Tinker Toys moves to blitz Dirty Dean, a risky move since Dirty is very dodgy. Tinker throws a block but the BT coach spurs him to follow it up but all that does it push Dirty backwards., in a strange move, Tinker elects to push Dirty into the ball scattering it back and towards the sideline. Skate Board in a fit of heroics (or stupidity) throws a block at Rex and manages to knock him down, he's gonna be impossible in the locker room after this.

T15-ST Mean jean pushes Marbles out of the way, freeing up Booty to head for the end zone, I sense a desperation pass here.... Cheety picks up the ball, yes, he's going to pass!!! This will be quite the throw even if he sprints closer it will still be challenging. As he rears back to fling the ball, it slips right out of his hand.....

T15-BT Paddle Ball blitzes Cheety, down he goes! The ball is no longer marked. Will Monopoly try one of his long bombs? Where is he going to throw it?? Wait..there's Knex down the field, I thought he was just getting out of the way to avoid being hurt but instead he was positioning himself downfield. He scoops up the ball, this is going to be a long throw!!! It's a perfect strike and Knex.......DROPS IT????

T16-ST Funky Frank starts a hand over action and dodges out, he sprints to the ball but can't pick it up.

T16-BT Paddle Ball frees up Tinker to blitz Funky. Here he comes!!!! And its a push, but wait what is he doing?!?!?! he pushes Funky so he's right next to the ball. The BT coach is losing his MIND!!! Well, here goes. Monopoly has to pickup the ball while in a tackle zone, throw a quick pass while in a tackle zone and avoid and interception, then Knex has to catch the ball while in a tackle zone, dodge out and score.....Monopoly almost misses the ball but his sure hands save the day! He tosses the ball and Funky Frank tries to bat it down but no luck...Knex snatches it out of the air and takes off for the end zone! He scores!

While the dice may have been in the Broken Toys favor, it wasn't by much. Timely armor breaks on mighty blow blocks were key. As well as timely armor saves. The BT coach took advantage of a couple key mistakes on the part of the ST coach but made a couple of his own like over extending the ball carrier in turn 4 when it was unnecessary.

A rare 4 skill game as Etch learned Wrestle, Legos learned Guard, Skate Board mastered Tackle and Knex figured out how to Block.
