“Happy (Thunder) Slapping was the theme of the first half, with Berserker Raven hunting down goblins and knocking them out, just to be repeatedly fouled back and knocked out himself. Goblins and Norse were exchanging friendly but intense smacks, which left both teams with only 7 players left on the pitch at the end of the first drive, when Steve scored the lead. Three turns were not enough for the Slappers to score back, which they then easily did in turn 10. Deprived of all secret weapons, the Goblins were left with only six players on the pitch, facing a full Norse squad. But Nuffle started to shine on them. A Quick-Snap freed up much needed players, and a touchback gave the ball right into Steve's hands. Where it stayed until the touchdown three turns later. With no reroll left, the Slappers were allowed no mistake if they wanted to equalize the game. Tragically, it was Raven, who rolled the double skulls in an attempt to recover the ball from a failed catch, depriving the Norse from any realistic chance to score a second time.”
