“A close game with two similar sides, but in the end the luck really wasn't with the Ruffians this time. The Ruffians went in at halftime 1-0 down after an error on a one-turn attempt, but actually looking back at the dice if played properly the dice would still have failed.

The Ruffians got pitch control second half removing a string of rats including the opposition killer KO'd. Critically however, the opposition one-turner remained despite several powerful blitzes and a juicy foul. The Ruffians scored and turned over to go 2-1 up, but then that one turner came back to haunt us scoring in the last turn of normal time, then Bats n' Rats won the OT coinflip too and scored in two further turns despite no rerolls, and a failed wrestle/strip ball attempt by the Ruffians' sacker. Definitely not our game! Still a fun and close one which went right to the wire. ”
