“Game 1,000 for the Slime Barons and it was a classic.

The Barons received the kick and quickly removed 3 Necro's from the pitch, although the Necro's tried some sneaky tricks to get the ball and almost succeeded! The Barons had done enough damage though and the half ended 1-0.

Into the second half and The Necro's were quickly on the offensive, taking our a couple of the Nurgle and charging down the field under pressure for a quick TD, 1-1. The Nurgles had their chance again, but despite the numbers advantage the Necro's (especially the Wight) wouldn't leave them alone and it T15 a Pesti made a run for the end zone and failed his last step, dropping the ball and injuring himself!

There was still time for the Wight to make a one player road block, but the path was cleared and a Pesti made the pickup and 2 GFI's needed to take the win, which had suddenly looked in doubt.

After the game Nuffle awarded the Barons a 1,000 game gift of +Ag on the teams ball carrier and to mark the occasion Sammler der Seelen was recruited onto the Barons team to wear the number 16 shirt.

Now it's time for the Barons to take a break for a while (I can already hear the collective cheers).
