“The mighty Vipers recorded their first win of the season in a closely fought match vs Rot Your World. Determined not to let the stench of the Nurgle upset their game the vamps pushed deep into the opposition half. Looking for a gap in the clouds of flies to fire a pass to a waiting reciever Lady Blackheart failed to spot a putrid puddle in her path and slipped right into the foul mess. Furious at the slime covering her outfit she grabbed the recovered ball and threw straight through the haze to Baron Necktearer who ran in the first score.
The Nurgle recovered and despite the best efforts of the vampires managed to equalise at half time.
Looking to seal the win the Nurgle drove hard down their right flank. However little can stand in the way of a vampire team in form and the ball was once again recovered by Lady Blackheart who moved down the pitch passing to one vamp then another to complete the victory. A well earned MVP was presented to her after the match. Sadly the thrall elected to fulfill the task will not be playing for the team as he became the post match banquet for the celebrating bloodsuckers.
