“Diane, it's 1:16 AM on Tuesday, Feb 10, and I've just returned from the morgue. It seems the residents of the town cemetery just couldn't wait for their new guests to be delivered. So I called Sheriff Truman and his deputies and we headed over. Some of the locals were already there, most likely trying to protect Laura's body. Leo and James fell victim early, and Donna wasn't far behind. This is becoming a regular occurrence for James, and I'm beginning to wonder how much he really wants to help with the case. Still, the team performed exceptionally well even short-handed. The dead seemed to have trouble doing more than hitting hard. Perhaps being so freshly disinterred has hindered their coordination. Add it to the list of mysteries this town has sprung on me since my arrival. There's no mystery in the Twin Peaks Sheriff Department's performance, though. I attribute that to hard work and long hours of training.

Medical Report: Leo Johnson was the first to need Albert's assistance but Albert assured me Leo would be fine and there would be no permanent damage. With Leo, how could he tell? Regardless, I nearly called on Albert when I was KO'd late in the 1st half but I trusted Harry and his team to handle things in my absence. My departure was not long. Deputy Brennan took a big hit late in the game but again Albert assured me he would be fine, as only blood squirted out. Albert's sense of humor is not always apparent. Deputy Brennan's sacrifice probably gave us the last TD, though, so I'm putting him in for a commendation in my official report.

Financial Report: Both teams seemed suddenly flush with illicit cash early sometime in the 1st half, but we both forgot we even had it. Probably drug money. I'll be turning that in along with my report to Gordon, Diane. The actual winnings were extremely timely as I feel I may need to expand the team a bit more.
