“Crown Of Sand VI Qualifier IV - Second round
This match-up seemed "easy" for my team. Facing only one cpomber, some guards but not many. And a frightening minotaur.
I kick first. Opponents make easy cas/KO when my guys cannot.
I cannot stop his good and quick attack on the side, but he cant stall much.

But I'm outnumbered, and I only have 4-5 turns to score. Kick is pretty deep, Dada only can reach the ball in two turns. My guys on the LoS cant stop everyone while building a side attack. And it had to happen... Dada snaked the gfi before trying to pass to Calcium. Opponents pick the ball up, run and pass.
0-2 before second half
Now I have to score fast, and I'm still outnumbered. I do my best to have Calcium in a good position to score in 3 turns, but he fails the cath... I burn my rerolls pretty fast, dices are not very good on my side. And opponents find breaches to blitz my BC and slow my attack down. I only can score in 6 turns.

Then I have two turns to score. Opponents try to score too, that could have been a big msitake. Sov can blitz the BC (double push). But then the BC try to blitz 1d (skull). Sov can try a pass 4+ but he fails the last gfi. Game over.
Dices didn't help much, and I don't think I made many mistakes (but I failed protecting Golgoth, and the apo failed too). Too many guys out in the first turns when I make more blocks than my opponent. Damn non-cpombers! :)
Grats Xeterog, you took your chance and it worked. I hope your only one cpomb+tackler will not miss you too much in the next round.”

2 1st half TD's manage to be enough
1st half, I score, while doing some good damage and without taking much. One of his 3 Claw/Mighty Blow/Pileon players is out of the match even. Then, with the help of Exploding runes--and a failed GFI, I was able to get the ball and score on turn 8. At the time, I had Illegal Substitution and players on the bench if he had broken free (my mino had been hurt and the apoth worked, so he was waiting to stop any TD ;)
2nd half, the tables turned, injury wise, and I was not able to stop his TD. But we were able to barely defend from a 2nd TD with some luck (another failed GFI really).. I did lose my only remaining CLMBPO player (gold)...apoth had already saved the mino from death.
Marroon gets Tackle, as there is a good chance I'll face Amazon next (3 of the 4 teams in the bracket are Amazon--the other is Chaos)
