I opened my mouth in the Crown of Sand thread and said 'dwarves are happy with their draw'. Then I saw my first norse opponent was coached by spinball. Last time I faced him was in the FUMBBL Cup when his orcs took apart my necro team. And I noticed that PC lost with his dwarves against a norse team coached by another very good coach. Fortunately, this game went the way norse vs. dwarf games normally go. Spinball was not having a lot of success blocking and my Fend kept his Frenzy in check. He started losing players and got desperate but made the throw. I set up a block that would at least pin the runner on the sideline and got the POW. From there it was just a matter of getting the ball on Shovel and running his little dwarf legs off. 2nd half we got more CAS and KOs and just rolled the cage down the field to stall for 8 turns. Both sides traded hits, but the only bad injury came on Bordi in the first half.
Thanks for the game, spinball. GL with the team, and see you in a future tournament.”
