“Diane, it's 1:24 AM, Wednesday Feb 18, and I'm exhausted. Bad weather dumped a swarm of frogs on the town. Literally. It also played havoc on the telephone lines. People all over town were dropping calls and television reception was terrible. Still, we managed to play through it and things finally settled down. The frogs were good, and they had some nice tricks up their sleeves. They struck first, then we answered twice. Then again in the 2nd half, which they answered. Finally, we got a fourth TD in though not without a fair bit of interference from those frogs. Both these teams have been through a lot recently, so it was good to have a chance to recover and not need Albert for a change.

Medical Report: I'm happy to report I did not have to call on Albert's team at all this game. A few KOs but nothing worse. Although the stat line doesn't show it the frog's suffered 3 BH: a crowd push, a failed gfi, and a rock thrown by the crowd. The crowd threw 2 rocks at least, all at the frogs.

Financial Report: Another cheap proprietor attempted to swindle me on the gate but I once again resorted to using the Bureau's rep and got a better deal. The locals continue to show their support for us. Maybe Norma will give us a free cup of coffee at the Double R.

Epilogue: One of the locals who helped us out today turned out to be Hank Jennings. Harry doesn't trust Hank very much, but we can't really afford to turn down help. I have the perfect job for him and Leo.”
